Technically they are dead people walking and simultaneously immortal but they don't have to die as humans to turn into a vampire. To become a vampire you must be first bitten and drain almost the the brink of death. Then your sire must feed you their blood. After that your body will go through a changing period where it will physically die. This usually takes one to two days to complete. However, we do not know for certain as of yet if they are soulless demons andor if their vampirism is from an ultimately biological cause. There have been sites of vampires crying an mourning lost ones or even loving someone beyond anything. This indicates they are fully capable of human feeling as any mortal and would strongly suggest they aren't soulless. AppearanceOn the outside they seem like normal human beings. Their "game face" when their vampiric nature is fully aroused is rather benign compared to other tellings of the mythos. Their eyes turn black when they're angry, and they also possess fangs that are normally hidden (when not feeding or angry) and they are comparatively small. Eveything else about them is completly human and can vary from gender to race. NourishmentLike most myths about Vampires, vampires need blood to drink, however it does not have to be taken directly from a human to be drunk. They can feed off supplies from blood banks or other sources. They could probably also subsist on animal blood if neccessary. However, they appear to be able not only to physically process normal food and alcohol in their bodies they seem to take pleasure in eating normal food and drink. They can discern and appreciate the different flavors of food as any human can. The older the vampire is the longer it can go without blood. But it can not go indefinatly without blood. It will come to a point where it will appear like the vampire is an addict going through withdraw. They will have the chills and be covered in sweat. They will start to hallucinate and slowly loose their mind and eventually is this continues they will revert back to their primal instincts and kill anything in their path just to get that nourishment. PowersSuper SpeedThey possess extra abilities like superspeed. Its a recurring theme that they appear and disappear in the blink of an eye. This power gets stronger as the vampire gets olders as do all of their powers. Heightened SensesVampires have heightened senses. They can see farther than most humans as well has smell more, hear from long distances away and their sense of touch is ever heightened to a certain extent. Physical StrengthIt is a sure assumption that they have physical strength significantly over and above mortals. Further regarding strength, it is known at this time that great physical strength depends on age, that is the older the vampire is the stronger he or she is. That is can a 100 year old vampire can easily over power a newly transfigured vampire even if the old vampire is a small thin 5 foot 90 pound woman and the new vampire a 6'3" 220 pound former male football player. WeaknessVampires are vulnerable to sunlight, however they manage to survive in the day by using a special sort of "Sun Screen". They apply this all over their skin to protect it from the sun. If they forget to apply this the sunlight will burn them causing great pain and eventually death. It is well known among the vampire community that the myth of holy water and crucifixes are Vatican propaganda as well as that Vampires do not sleep in coffins. They seem not to be susceptible to special foods and herbs like garlic. One thing that is true is that a vampire cannot enter a house belonging to a human without the owner's permission. If they try to enter they will be stopped at the door by what seems like an invisble barrier. Furthmore, at any time does the owner wish they not to enter anymore they can take back their invitation. Vampires can be killed by either fire or a wooden stake to the heart. Sire & Their SiredBetween a vampire sire and their sired there is a bond. The bond between them might be caused by just creating them. It is currently unknown if the bond stays because they would repeatively bitten/fed off each other or just because they are both "alive".
AppearanceIn beast form, werewolves look exactly like regular wolves - about the same height and weight, and their fur color are different which is probably caused by genetics. In human form, werewolves - in great times of anger or emotional stress - have glowing yellow eyes, which is a warning sign that if they do not calm down they'll change. Any other time they look like regular humans They also have a third form that is mainly used for fighting. It looks like a mix between a human and a wolf. It is very tall and very muscular. The head is that of a wolf as well as the claws and the feet and the tail but the body is that of an overly muscular man covered in fur. This form is mainly used when in a confrontation. PowersIn both human and beast form, werewolves have superhuman senses (superhearing, superstrength, super-agility). Along with the enhanced senses, werewolves have accelerated healing ability. A cut can heal itself in seconds, and if treated, a werewolf would be able to heal from a near death experience but not neccessarily instantly it would take at least a week or two to completly heal. The ChangeUnlike most werewolf myths, it seems that it doesn't matter that it isn't a full moon - they can change at any time they wish. Although under extreme emotions (like anger), could cause the change to come if one doesn't have enough control. It has been learned in recent studies that even though a werewolf can change at any given time they have no choice but to change on the full moon cycle. The change can be very painful as well. Throughout the whole ordeal the bones in the body are constantly breaking and healing to form the wolf inside of them. Some werewolves see it more of a curse than a gift because of the excruciating they have to go through to change. Although it has been discovered that the longer a person is a werewolf the change seems to not be so bad because of how they got used to the pain in time. RelationsLike most werewolf stories and regular wolves, they mainly run in packs - usually with family members or other werewolves that live in the same area. They are formulated like normal packs - having alphas and betas. It is unclear if there are any omegas, but in any social setting there are always those who are on the bottom of the social order if not outcast. There are some werewolves that appear to be outside of a pack, who are not officially in any known pack - however they could be just considered a pack by themselves, just having lost some of their members. WeaknessesLike in most myths and legends the most common weakness for a werewolf is silver. When a werewolf comes in contact with this substance it will burn their skin. If it is enetered into the blood stream say like in a liquid or powder form it will cause them to become very ill and if not treated can eventually cause death. Becoming a WerewolfIt is known that if you are bitten by a werewolf you will become one but what isn't known is that to become a werewolf you have to be bitten on the full moon cylce. You will not then change until the next full moon. You can also be born a werewolf if both of your parents are werewolves. CeremoniesWolves are known for their rituals, especially those associated with packs. One of the main ceremonies between the pack is the Run. This consists of the whole pack transforming and running together as the wild creatures they are. The other ceremony always coincides with the Run, the Hunt. While a pack will usually only hunt deer and what other 'normal' wolves hunt, the pack takes this as a chance to let the animal inside them wear down. With the carnage of the hunt the need to extinguish such energy and ferality is saited for the time being. The law of the pack is that during the hunt is the only time a werewolf is allowed to shed blood. Another ritual that can occur simultaneously with the Run is mating. Often times an interested couple of wolves will seperate themselves from the pack. It is forbidden for them to wander too far but it is then that they bond as mates. This is also the perfect and only chance for any rival to make themselves known and challenge for the right to mate with the werewolf instead. Wolves mate for life and all matings are final. Only the Alpha can step in to denounce the 'marriage'. This only happens in extreme cases.
AppearanceThey seem like normal human beings. They have as of yet, exhibited no distinct differences physiologically from other humans. MagicLike many myths regarding witches witches in modern day have the ability to manipulate magic and have both access to some sort of "black magic", and some sortof "white magic". They have not yet exhibited the ability to actively "cast" magic, and seem mainly to manipulate potions and other objects to achieve results, medicines, teas, facial scrubs. It is not indicated whether magic is innate in all humans or only a select few. There are at least several uses of magic as indicated by the variety of uses it has been seen to have. WeaknessWitches are in all humans. They have all of the weakness that humans do. They can get sick, hurt, and die.
AppearanceSuccubus/Incubus look like humans, but possibly more attractive than average humans to probably lure in victims. They also have a rash that appears on their back that grows when sucking in energy from another person's body. It's unknown if it's just an half-succubus thing or every Succubus that has it. PowersAs a Succubus/Incubus, their bodies lose energy which causes them to when intimate with someone have the ability to drain that someone's life force, allowing the succubus' body energy to balance and feel rejuvenated. Their victim, however, loses that energy and depending on how long they are intimate results to feeling sick, passing out, or death. OffspringIt is possible that a succubus/incubus and a human can have offspring together. However, later in life of the offspring, they do become a succubus. WeaknessIt has been found that a succubus/incubus can be prevented from attacking by using substances like salk and gold and could also be gotten rid of with a simple banishing ritual. Dream catchers have also been proven to keep them away from a residence.
Spirits, or ghosts, is a soul or spirit of a deceased person, taken to be capable of appearing in visible form or otherwise manifesting itself to the living. The main reason they return from the dead is because they have unresolved business on Earth that they have to complete before they can move on. AppearanceThe general appearance of a Spirit is how the person had died or in some cases, how the body's condition currently looks like. If posessing a person, the eyes of the possessed is a smokey white color. However, the eyes can be returned to normal (the possessed's natural eye color). PowersThe Spirit has powers of appearing and disappearing, possession, and holding onto someone. Spirits are known to affect the electricity in the room/building if it appears. RelationshipsGenerally, only the person the spirit is haunting can see spirit, however, the spirit can still interact and affect its surroundings if it wishes along with other people. The possessed do not have memories of the time being possessed, it's unknown if that's just because the spirit didn't want the possessed to know or if it's just impossible for the possessed to have knowledge of the events. WeaknessA ghost doesn't really have that many weakness other than salt, iron, and exorcism.
AppearanceHumans come in all shapes and sizes! They have different races and cultures that effect their appearcne as well as their personalities. PowersHumans don't really have any powers to speak of. Some can be found to be telepathic but most of the time they have to rely on their physical strength. RelationshipsMost humans are very social and choose to live among others of their kind. WeaknessHumans are a fragile creature. They get hurt easily and are not hard to kill. They often are effected by illnesses ad rely on medicine.
