t h e r e i s n o t h i n g b e t t e r... THAN THE PLEASURE OF INFLICTING PAIN TO ANOTHER PERSON... All have been sucumbed to this: evil is fleeting, where as evil does not flee, it envelops you, becomes forever intertwined in the processes of your mind, inbetween the purity of your soul. never leaveing, never appearing, only plagueing, those who are infected will spread onto others. each and every soul is determined to be infectious...
Evil is infectious?...But I do not consider myself to be evil, just someone of different tastes...
The darkness, a familiar setting, the moonlight dancing along the main street. A slight breeze that to any normal person would send a shiver down their spine. Kairo on the other hand preferred these type of nights. The streets of Downtown were mostly deserted, just leaving the late office workers and the homeless loitering around. the tall, pale male walked down the streets as if it were day time. His vampiric senses locking on to every sound that was around him. He could hear conversations about other people's day and other things around him.
This community had now become his new home, he despised it. All the rules he must abide by just did not suit his style. His contraptions and very soul were growing very hungry for the taste and pleasure of sweet torture. But no, he had to go by the rules of the humans and give up all that he enjoyed in life. It wasn't like he was condemning these poor wretched humans to anything to horrific. It was more like he was saving them the effort to continue on with their dreary lives. While in the meantime feeding his everlasting hunger for chaos. "This town is no fun at all, so boring..."
he huffed to himself as he sniffed the air. What an odd and wretched smell... He continued down the street the smell getting slightly stronger. He chuckled slightly as he sniffed once again. "Well this is going to be an interesting encounter..."[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Kaiden was downtown, which wasn't very usual for him. The only times he'd manage to wander that far north in the community was because of the pack. And per usual he was helping one of the pack members with her new shipment. She recieved a lot of boxes that needed to be inventoried and stocked so he offered to help.
He carried a box from the truck that was parked infront of the store to the door when he smelled something. It was fairly late and there usually wasn't anyone around at this time. The shops were closed after all. He turned his head to see the figure walking towards them and couldn't help the snarl appear on his face. Damned vampires... Kaiden moved into the store and warned the woman inside that there was a vampire wandering about. Given the rules of the community nothing would happen but he wanted her to be on guard anyway.
Kaiden walked back out of the store and to the truck for another box. All the while he kept a corner of his eye directed towards the dark figure that walked closer and closer to his location.

t h e r e i s n o t h i n g b e t t e r... THAN THE PLEASURE OF INFLICTING PAIN TO ANOTHER PERSON... A smirk played around the sides of his mouth as he heard the male rush into to the store to talk to the woman. "I can hear you, you mangy little dog..."
Werewolf, sworn enemy of Kindred, awful creatures they are. And are still so barbaric with their hunting tactics. For decades, both sides have been fighting. And both sides losing many comrades to it. Kairo had a story, back in his traveling days, of why werewolves and vampires despise each other. Apparently the "Lycans" were becoming an extinct race. Whereas the vampires were the "Overseers" at the time. The vampires, had a set of rules for the "Lycans" They weren't allowed to "sire" without a vampire council member's approval. Ninety percent of the time the claim was denied and so the "Lycans" were forced to live on a reservation, where the vampires could keep track of them. The "Alpha" of the pack at the time decided to demand an audience with the council leader of the vampires. they agreed and hauled him in front of the leader. The 'Alpha" pleaded to the leader, asking if they could re-populate their kind. the council leader agreed and took the "Alpha" back to his pen. Instead of giving the "lycan" what he wanted the leader order for the "Alpha" to be killed and his body exposed to the rest of the pack. The vampires killed the "Alpha" and instead of ensuing fear into the werewolves they became out-raged. They broke out of the reservation, half of the pack left the place and never returned whereas the other half slaughtered their way to the council leader and killed him. Apparently they buried his head right on the reservation. And with that every generation of Kindred or Werewolf were born with the hatred of the other kind. But Kairo knew this was just an "Old Wives tale." Kairo's stomach jumped with joy when he heard a female. A fair maiden?... A slight growl issued from his throat. "Oh little wretched dog, how did you know my one weakness?" He began to quicken his pace, adrenalin now rushing to every limb of his cold, deceased body. "Do I hear a female?..."
So long...too long...I need to fulfill my desire...
Kairo's deep brown eyes slowly shifted to a jet black, his head spinning. His mouth nearly drooling over the thought of the woman in the store. "Tell me this dog," he stopped in his own track, now looking over at the shadowy figure. "Have you ever know the pleasure of holding a live, beating heart in your own hands? And how it slowly just...stops...beating..." [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Kaiden's muscles instantly tightened as he heard the vampire's voice. The snarl returned and he had to supress the growl from escaping his throat. This corpse was getting too close and friendly for his liking. And what was that question about.
His brown eyes stared at Kairo while he still held that box in his hands. "Dog? Why don't you speak to me like the equals the truce makes us, corpse. I've held a lot of beating hearts in my hands. What's your point?" Of course they were Elk hearts, but a heart was a heart. "It really is too bad that Vampire hearts don't beat." Before Kaiden came to the community he had quite the reputation as a vampire killer. This was probably the easiest button to push on Kaiden. Vampires got under his skin and he'd happily claw the man to shreds if only he could. The truce was the truce...he could do nothing to him unless he started it himself. Was he going to be that stupid?
All the while his mind was on the woman in the shop. He was hoping this was the only vampire around and this wasn't some sort of start to a war. He wouldn't be surprised...it was always the vampires that started things. High and mighty blood suckers had no honor.

t h e r e i s n o t h i n g b e t t e r... THAN THE PLEASURE OF INFLICTING PAIN TO ANOTHER PERSON... The growl of a werewolf. Just like a dog's, a cautionary warning for anyone who approaches. Kairo took a step forward. He watched the werewolf tighten his muscles. How entertaining... "My what is the problem with you dogs and wanting to be treated as 'equals'"
So what if they was a truce? Kairo never signed the blasted thing, he should be able to treat werewolves how ever he pleased. "Oh yes this so called truce I don't remember signing it nor do I care about it..." he smirked, taking another step forward. His eyes now set on the store door, where the "fair maiden" was hiding. "I've held a lot of beating hearts in my hands."Kairo's smirk became a grin, like a little kid who got exactly what the wanted for Christmas. 'My heart my not beat dog, but the scream or a shriek of a young woman when you slowly pull her heart out of her chest, still does light a fire in my chest..." He let out a growl, his mind racing. "Because of this ridiculous truce, my desires go unfulfilled...it's enough to drive one insane..." The old days of when he was just a young fledgling were the days he loved the most. No restrictions, no truces and not as many rude werewolves. His desire then was filled every single day. The blood of young women were painted across the walls of every town he had visited. And people were none the wiser. Oblivious even to what was happening around them. Now he had a strict council that dictated his entire eternity because of the "humans" Bah humans are just toys to him. He has to report every feeding and how much he drained from them, he was not allowed to kill or "disassemble," as he likes to call it, at all. And the "Lycans" had no respect for him because of the truce. This world has become a living hell. "May I ask one question of you my dear dog..." He stepped forward again, his eyes lit up with desire. "What hair color does the fair maiden in there have?"... [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Muscles tightened again. What was this blood sucker doing? Did he realize he was talking to the Alpha? Certainly he wasn't this stupid...
"Why the hell should I tell you that? Get lost." That growl came out now, harsh and demanding. Somehow he still managed to keep his cool enough to not shift but his eyes were starting to change. "Go back home to your coffin." His nostrils flared slightly as he started to grow more tense. He didn't like the way this guy was talking about his packmate.
He pivoted his body slightly to place the box back on the edge of the truck. He then folded his arms over his muscular chest. His eyes glared towards the vampire, acting like a stoic statue that now had his complete attention upon the corpse. "Just who are you and why don't you get the hint and get lost?"

THAN THE PLEASURE OF INFLICTING PAIN TO ANOTHER PERSON... Kairo watched as the dog's muscles tightened yet again. He heard another growl from the werewolf, he chuckled. Stupid dog, hasn't he dealt with someone like me before...?
"Why the hell should I tell you that? Get lost." Kairo walked forward until he was directly in front of the werewolf, his eyes scanning every inch of the beast. The beast maybe be built but that doesn't mean anything. Most werewolves were thick head. Vampires on the other hand like to take the long way about a fight, but is this beast stupid enough to change right here, right now just because he doesn't like what he is hearing. His eyes then traveled to the eyes of the beast. He grinned, the beast was having trouble containing himself. "The reason I want to know is so I can put her into a category, like all my other victims." his eyes did not move from the beasts eyes. 'Blondes tend to be the most pleasurable for me...they're screams and pleas are much more...honest..." It was true. Kairo had a soft spot for blondes and brunettes, not because they are more attractive. No. Because they're pleas for their lives were indeed more honest, more tears and even offers to not tell anyone about what he had done to them. But where's the fun in letting someone go? "Just who are you and why don't you get the hint and get lost?" He turned his gaze to the shop door, hoping to get a peak at the female in the store. "My name is Kairo you mangy mutt and the reason I won't leave is because I am interested in the female that is currently in that store...what are you going to do about it?..." [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

"I am Kaiden, Alpha of this pack. And if you so much as cause a piece of her hair to go into the wrong place I will make sure you regret it." Kaiden wasn't foolish enough to transform here but the vampire was doing a good job at pushing his buttons. He despised the species enough as it was and now he was threatening one of his pack.
Mangy mutt? That almost pushed him past the line. It was enough for his mind to jump to ideas on how to forcibly remove the pest. His hand at the Vampire's throat and crushing his neck in his grip. It wouldn't kill him but that was the point. Perhaps if he got tortured once he'd think twice about doing it himself. But instead of making a move he just remained there in that spot, not moving other than to keep his eyes on the Vampire.
"You wont need to categorize her. She will not be your 'victim' unless you want to be staked to a wall." Another snarl came to his face a he stared the vampire down. He had the intimidation factor down, unfortunately it didn't always work on the blood suckers. They were too cocky.
